One of the main goals of the company is to respect the environment.
    The vision is to make the transport sector environmentally friendly; by greatly reducing the CO2 emissions through
    a constant investment in “green technologies”.
    The actions adopted to achieve this goal include:
 
    ·  The purchase of newest vehicles
    ·  The increase of intermodal freight transportation
    ·  The production of electricity through a photovoltaic plant
    ·  The treatment of the water collected from rain and from vehicles washing
 
    These actions are a part of a large and well-defined company project aiming to pursue an eco-friendly development model.
    Therefore, these are just a few of the strategies which will be adopted by the company to reach the target goal.
         FLEET

  Our goal is to have a modern and efficient fleet; by constantly renewing our vehicles to maintain   
  the latest improvements in the transportation industry.
  Over the last 5 years we have replaced 48% of our vehicles, putting on the road Euro 5 and Euro 6 
  motor vehicles that emit considerably lower amounts of CO2 than older models.
      INTERMODAL

  Intermodal transportation is the way forward, it greatly reduce CO2 emissions. Now we make more
  than 10% of our transports through the combined transportation mode, which reduces CO2 emissions
  by 55% compared to standard road transportation.
   
        ENERGY
  We built a modern photovoltaic system to produce electricity. This system will be able
  to produce 120 MWh per year designed to meet the whole energy need required by our
  company. This will allow to save 62,5 tons of CO2 emissions per year compared to the same
  electricity amount produced by non-renewable energy sources.
      ENVIRONMENT
DEFINITIVO ACQUE DI LAVAGGIO Model  We use a modern purifying system for the treatment of the water collected from rain and from vehicles
  washing. This system collects and purifies these waters, releasing purified water into the sewer system
  in accordance with the parameters laid down by the D.Lgs. 152/2006.
